1 medium panino 1-2 tablespoons Artichoke & Garlic Sauce 2-3 slices of parmaham Some rocket leaves to garnish
Slice the panino in half lengthways, and toast the halves under the oven grill or in an electric sandwich grill. Spread the Artichoke & Garlic Sauce thickly on the bottom half of the panino, sprinkle with the rocket leaves, then add the sliced Buffalo mozzarella and parmaham. Sprinkle with some freshly ground black pepper. Serve open or closed, with a lovely glass of something chilled!
Asparagus and Smoked Salmon panino with Asparagus Pesto...
1 medium panino 1-2 tablespoons Asparagus Pesto
2-3 slices of smoked salmon
3 fresh tips of asparagus
Firstly, cook or steam the asparagus tips until slightly soft, then sprinkle a touch of nutmeg and some olive oil over them. Slice the panino in half lengthways, and toast the halves under the oven
grill or in an electric sandwich grill. Spread the Asparagus Pesto thickly on the bottom half of the panino, add the sliced smoked salmon on top and finish off with the asparagus tips. A sprinkle of some freshly ground black pepper will enhance the fresh flavours!
